Dickinson County Was founded in 1857.  It lies along Interstate 70 in the third tier of counties from the northern border of Kansas.  The County has an area of 852 square miles and a population of 19,300.

Sampler Festival

The Kansas Sampler festival is held to promote tourism and provide a place for Kansas communities to showcase themselves. 
The Dickinson County tent at this year's festival was a big success, earning the first ever Community Teamwork award presented by the Sampler Foundation.
