Enterprise is located along the Smoky Hill River just 4 miles south of I-70. The city has great parks including baseball and soccer fields, the big park with playground equipment, picnic areas, and swimming pool. There is also an ecological park and nature trail.
There are industrial sites available and the city offers very competitive industrial utility rates.
A recent addition to the city is the new Library Building which includes not only the library but also a large meeting room with kitchen facilities that is available for rent and the Fire Department headquarters.
The first public school kindergarten in Kansas was opened in Enterprise in 1903.
