The Women, Infant and Children (WIC) program is a supplemental nutrition program that provides nutrition education to help improve eating habits or correct health problems. WIC also provides checks for specific nutritional foods.

Pregnant and postpartum women, breastfeeding mothers, infants and children up to age five years are eligible to enroll. Income eligibility is according to 185% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. A household of four can gross $44,955 per year as of May 2016.

Manual and electric breast pumps are available at no charge to qualifying WIC moms.
